<p>Congratulations from Recommend and the <strong>Saint Lucia Tourist Board </strong>for becoming a Recommend-certified Saint Lucia specialist!</p>
<p>You&#8217;ve accrued some great benefits for completing the course, and the question is &#8220;What&#8217;s next&#8221;? How do you take advantage of these opportunities? Below is a comprehensive guide on how to utilize each benefit:</p>

Listing on recommend.travel’s Saint Lucia Specialist Finder<br />
</strong>Immediately upon completion of the course, your data is automatically made available on the specialist finder. Leisure travelers can directly contact you with specific needs/requests from within the application. The finder uses contact information supplied to Recommend during your edu.recommend.com registration, so be sure to keep your information updated by clicking on myDashboard when logged in and clicking &#8216;edit&#8217;.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><br />
3 continuing education units from The Travel Institute<br />
</strong><strong>(U.S. travel agents)<br />
</strong>A Certified Travel Associate (CTA), Certified Travel Counselor (CTC), or a Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE) who successfully completes this educational program earns continuing education units (CEU&#8217;s). CTA&#8217;s, CTC&#8217;s and CTIE&#8217;s are required to obtain a minimum of 10 CEU&#8217;s per year to maintain certification in The Travel Institute. 3 continuing education credits from the Canadian Institute of Travel Counselors<br />
</strong>To receive credits from the Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) program, you must complete a 3 step process on <a href="http://www.citc.ca">www.citc.ca</a>. First, you must enroll for certification, then you must pass a knowledge exam and lastly you must pass a workplace performance evaluation.  Once you are enrolled in the CTC program,  you can claim your credits by emailing a copy of your certificate to Teresa Hoang.  If you have any questions regarding your CTC credits, please contact Teresa Hoang, <a href="mailto:certification@citc.ca">certification@citc.ca</a>, 416-484-4450.</p>

Participation in the Preferred Agent Saint Lucia Specialist Program (PASS) by the Saint Lucia Tourist Board</strong><br />
The PASS program offers FAM trips and numerous other benefits based on recorded bookings to Saint Lucia.  The Saint Lucia Tourist Board will soon be in contact with you regarding next steps for your participation.</p>

You can download your certificate directly from your student dashboard.  When logged into edu.recommend.com, click on  &#8217;MyDashboard&#8217;. The dashboard contains links to your personalized PDF certificates.</p>
